Hi Ryan,

Thanks, that sounds like a reasonable approach. I think in the first instance a discussion with us (cc’d) about the growth issues then we can decide when to bring in infrastructure and Finance.

Hi John

Apologies for not replying earlier. I have been discussing this with others and it has taken a few days longer than I promised.

Regardless of this particular development it is apparent that we need to meet with you and your people, understand the plans for the central city area and ensure that what we are doing lines up with your plans.

The best way forward is probably if we do some preliminary work on the current state of the networks and then we meet to discuss expected growth going forward.

How does this approach sound? If we are going to meet who would need to be there from your side?

Regards

Hi Ryan,

I have tried to phone but cannot get through, hence the email.

I am keen to discuss this matter, given the recent approval of an apartment conversion adjacent to the Capital City Ford site. The solution to the ‘at/over capacity’ issue was to require onsite wastewater storage.

This issue will come to a head when the pre-application meeting is held within the next week or 2 for the proposed redevelopment of the Capital City Ford site for up to 200 apartments.

You can imagine the stink when they have to do something similar.

This is also a major concern for wider Te Aro and planning for the future.

Can we discuss and maybe meet to get the funding and necessary works on the programme.

I will be sending a similar email to David Chick and Anthony Wilson.

Cheers
