Official Information Request - Appliance Movements Auckland City Station
Refurbishment
I refer to your official information request which was received on 20 February 2017. You
asked for ‘information for the appliance movements when/if the City Refurbishment
occurs’.
In response, I confirm that a comprehensive refurbishment of Auckland City Station is on
the New Zealand Fire Service’s long term capital programme and planning for this is at an
early stage. At the current time, the detailed logistics around the maintenance of
operational performance (including appliance movements or redeployments) in the event
of a comprehensive refurbishment have yet to be considered. The maintenance of
operational performance will be a critical consideration as part of detailed planning for the
refurbishment when that occurs.
