On behalf of Gabriel Makhlouf, Secretary to the Treasury, I acknowledge receipt of

“Since the current Government has taken office on 19 November 2008, how 
much funding has KiwiRail received from the taxpayer/crown? 
 
Outside of direct KiwiRail funding, what over funding has been spent on Rail over 
the same time period?” 
 
Your request was received by the Treasury on 9 February 2017 and will be dealt with in 
accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act. 
 
To confirm your eligibility to make a request under section 12 of the Official Information
