I write in response to your Official Information Act request dated 24 December 2016, in which you 
requested the fol owing information: 
 
Could you please provide the total number of hospital beds from 2006 to 2016 at Manukau 
District Health Board. Yearly count wil  be great. Please note that the bed volume is the count of 
physical bed capacity (i.e. bed spaces). The count includes beds, rol er beds, lazy-boys, etc. The 
data does not include patient occupancy volumes. 
 
The information requested is provided in the table below.  Please note that a number of areas 
have been excluded from the totals provided; CM Health does not, and has not,  historically, 
captured the information you requested for those areas.
