EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Foam, dry chemical, CO2, water fog or spray
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Do not enter confined fire space without proper
protective equipment, including NIOSH/MSHA approved,
self-contained breathing apparatus. Cool exposed
containers with water spray. Do not inject a solid stream
of water or foam into hot, burning pools;  this may cause
splattering and increase fire intensity.  Avoid vapors.
EXPLOSION DATA:
This material is volatile and readily gives off vapors that
may travel along the ground or be moved by ventilation

and ignited by pilot lights, other flames, sparks, heaters,
smoking, electrical motors, static discharge, or other
ignition sources at locations distant from material
handling point.  Never use welding or cutting torch on or
near drum (even empty) because product (even just
residue) can ignite explosively.  Containers may explode
from internal pressure if confined to fire.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS:
Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce
smoke, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
SECTION IV - HEALTH HAZARD DATA
PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY:
Inhalation, eye, skin, ingestion
ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE EFFECTS:
SKIN CONTACT:
Prolonged or repeated exposure can cause redness, irritation and
scaling of the skin (dermatitis).
SKIN ABSORPTION:
Not expected to be absorbed through the skin under normal
conditions.
EYE CONTACT:
Causes irritation and intense stinging and burning.  If not promptly
removed, can cause corneal inflammation and permanent damage.
INHALATION:
Can cause irritation to upper respiratory tract, nausea, headache,
narcosis, lightheadedness, dizziness or unconsciousness.
INGESTION:
May be irritating to the gastrointestional tract and cause nausea,
vomiting, bleeding, central nervous system depression, hemolysis and
pulmonary damage.  Can be fatal.
CHRONIC OVEREXPOSURE EFFECTS:
Naphthalene is found in this product as a contaminant of the
solvent system..  Overexposure to high concentrations of
naphthalene vapors may cause liver and kidney damage.
Xylene is a component of this product.  Xylene has been
found to be a mild irritant and more significantly, a liver and
kidney toxicant.

FOR EYES:
Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.  If irritation
persists, contact a physician.
FOR SKIN:
Remove all contaminated clothing, flush skin with water for 10 minutes.
Afterwards wash the affected area with soap and water and then rinse.
FOR INHALATION:
Remove to fresh air. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. If breathing has
stopped, give artificial respiration. Keep person warm, quiet and get medical
attention.
FOR INGESTION:
Call a physician immediately.  Give victim a glass of water.  Do not induce
vomiting unless instructed by a physician or poison control center.  Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
