RE:  OIA 2016-17-11 – NZTE SUPPORT FOR NZDIA 
 
Thank you for your email of 14 September 2016 concerning an Official Information Act 1982 
request. You requested the following information: 
 
  any information relating to NZTE involvement in the NZ Defence Industry Association 
in the period from November 2015. 
  what roles will NZTE staff have in the upcoming NZDIA annual conference in 
November - what sponsorship or other financial support has NZTE provided or plans to 
provide for the 2016 NZDIA annual conference. 
 
Please find below the information that you have requested.  
 
Following the NZDIA conference in November last year, NZTE has attended two Quarterly 
NZDIA meetings - 13 April and 23 June 2016. In addition, NZTE attended the NZDIA Annual 
General Meeting on 10 February 2016.  
 
At this point in time there are no plans for NZTE staff to have any role in the upcoming NZDIA 
annual conference in November 2016.  There are also no plans for NZTE to provide 
sponsorship or other financial support for the 2016 NZDIA annual conference.
