We are in receipt of your email dated 22 January 2016 under section 12 of the Official Information requesting
information relating to:
1. The total number of prisoners placed on the waiting list for inpatient services during the course of the most
recent year you have records for.
2. The length of time, in days, each prisoner spent on the waiting list.
As required under the Official Information Act 1982, the Canterbury District Health Board will respond to your
request within 20 working days. You should therefore receive a response on or before 22 February 2016.
If a large amount of information has been requested or if the Canterbury District Health Board needs to consult in
order to make a decision, we may need to extend this date (this is provided for in section 15A of the Act). We will
advise you if such an extension is necessary.
