Tēnā koe John,

Thank you for your request to the Department of Conservation, received on 21 June 2026, in
which you asked for:

I understand that each regional conservation board publishes an annual report every year;
however, I have been unable to locate many of these reports online.

In particular, I am looking for the annual reports of the following boards:
Auckland Conservation Board

Wellington Conservation Board
Southland Conservation Board
West Coast Tai Poutini Conservation Board

Canterbury Aoraki Conservation Board
I am seeking copies of their annual reports covering the period from 2016 to 2024.

I would appreciate it if you could advise where these reports can be accessed or provide
copies if they are available.

We have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982.

The annual reports for Conservation Boards are publicly available on the Department of
