Hi Adarsh
Yes correct and apologies for the confusion, the TTM company have not done this correctly
- I have asked Nadia to update the form on their behalf and resend to you.
@Nadia Jooste (AT) as discussed we just want the 19th in columns K & L, and leave
contingency columns blank.
Confirming the event is not going ahead on 12th April due to the cyclone, they will only go
ahead on 19th April now.

Hi Maddy,
As per the updated form provided by Nadia, contingency dates are mentioned as 19/04/26 and
original dates still remains to be 12/04/26- does this mean the events are taking place on the
19/04/26 instead? unfortunately the register doesn't pick up closure sites based on contingency
dates but rather on actual start and finish dates.
Please let me know and I'll get this updated with the comms team.

Can you please confirm that the change for Waterfront Half Marathon has definitely been
actioned? As per the list sent today the new event date doesn’t seem to be included?
Will this be on the website on Monday or should it have been updated already given the 12th
April date will not go ahead? I can see last update to the website was 7th April.

Subject: Waterfront Half Marathon - updated route feedback
Hi Emily
As discussed, please see feedback to consider regarding the updated change in route for
Waterfront Half Marathon around Te Komititanga Sq and side streets.
RCA perspective:
As long as the organiser have sorted out the clashes with the existing
work sites- no specific issues.
AT Facilities (Mac):
remind everyone that there is an Ambulance Parking bay outside the
rear door of Britomart on Galway St.
If there is any medical emergency at Britomart, that’s where the ambulance would
go.
I assume you would have medical coverage for the half M so they should be able to
use that avenue in the case of an emergency.
They would have to be included in this conversation to enable them to make
alternative arrangements with FENZ.
Please consult with St Johns and FENZ to ensure emergency access to Britomart Station is
maintained at all times, including access points and route to rear door ambulance parking bay.
AUDO: Sarah Briggs has passed on info to Cathy s7(2)(a) Privacy at Queens Wharf Event Centre as the
wharf is not AUDO – I advised her that I think Council/EO are already in comms with Cathy
Chambers and Anders for Queens Wharf but if not, please see their email addresses for
stakeholder approval of use of the wharf - [email address]>; s7(2)(a) Privacy
s7(2)(a) [email address]>
Bus team rep, Traffic Engineering, Road Maintenance: No issues to route change from previous
version.
Please note from Special Events feedback, same as RCA – TTM Provider/EO will need to consult
all potential clashes for clearance as part of TMP application/approval process. Please consider
previous feedback for bollards etc around Te Komititanga Square.
Please ensure there is pedestrian access to/from Britomart (Waitemata Station) for train patrons
and staff. Consider access for businesses and resident carparks within these side streets (we
had feedback for Santa Parade for this area so calling it out as something to consider for access
and letter-drop/comms).

i think we can manage the buses and course without the parking resolution - if it was going to
be the thing that stops us going ahead with the 19th. but of course would prefer to stick with
what we already set out.

Thanks for your email.
Noting for the parking resolution you have authorised parking, bus parking etc. as well as
the no stopping, so I imagine it would be a challenge to facilitate the event operations
without parking officers being able to clear these areas for your bus operation and
authorised vehicles?
I am waiting on an update from some internal teams regarding any feedback on going ahead
on the 19th.
If you will have Britomart/Te Komititanga open earlier in the day then this shouldn’t be an
issue with people travelling to Auckland FC.

thanks so much for getting back to us maddy.
right now, i think we're 60/40 go/postpone - so we're still hopeful it will be ok to go ahead,
even though we have already pulled back all the on course entertainment, big arches, etc.
that said, we will want to be in a position to give a new date on friday if we have to
postpone. so if we can push ahead with trying to make april 19th work, i think that is the
right call.
just running through your points:
1/ colin and his team are working on the myworksites conflicts and we believe this is
doable.
2/ parking enforcement. although we definitely want to have this, we did not have a parking
enforcement before the 2025 event. is it possible to produce the event on the 19th
without one?
3/ feels like the auckland fc match shouldnt be an issue as we will be out of britomart by 9.
4/ yes, the letterdrops were completed and the rain date was included on those
i think we want to exhaust all possible efforts to stick with the approved rain date. only if
that fails should we be looking further into the calendar.
i'm not sure what the next steps are but if there is anything needed from us, please just let
me know.
thanks

Hi all
I have had a look through the application – the rain date was not included in any of the
TMP application documentation including road closure notice etc. so it has not been
communicated/advertised and is not on the approved parking resolution.
This has also not been discussed from a network coordination point of view – e.g. there
may be third-party worksites which would conflict with 19th April date.
If you are wanting to proceed on the 19th we would need to ensure that this is possible
from a parking enforcement point of view; if it’s possible for TCC to review and approve
as an extraordinary item before that date; and we would need to communicate to
PT/Network Comms regarding the impact to bus routes and bus stops.
If there are 3rd party worksites on that date it may not be possible for the event to
proceed or there may be compromises to coordinate with both. Te Komititanga would be
a key area of impact.
Please note there is an Auckland FC match on 19th April which will mean more people
travelling via Britomart station.
Can you please confirm if letter-drops have gone out and if they have mentioned the
contingency date at all or not?
Colin – have your team looked at potential clashes on MyWorksites, I’m guessing if the
TMP didn’t include 19th then this may not have been part of their works clash comms to
other contractors?
If you are looking at a different date we would have more time to do consultation with
internal stakeholders and ensure that an updated parking resolution can be approved for
the event. Please let me know what date(s) you are looking at and we can go from there.

Just to note, that if it is another date other than 12 April or the rain date of 19 April, we would
need to go out to all stakeholders for re-approval of the event, which will add additional time
onto the permitting process and would need to ensure this does not clash with any other
