2. For Discussion and Recommendation: Driver Use of
Substances Not Classed as Drugs
The Group discussed impairment of drivers due to substances such as kava, 
NAGs, glue and nitrous oxide. 
The Group recommended that a new factor code should be created for 
suspected impairment by substances not classed as drugs.

b.  Coding of Very Low Blood Alcohol Readings 
The Group agreed that blood alcohol readings at or below five milligrams per 
100 mil ilitres of blood should be treated as no alcohol for the purposes of 
coding.
