May I kindly ask when is the meeting decision date for KB 2026 list took place. 
 
As of 16 May 2026, how many nominations you have currently on hand for next round of 
decision NY 2027. 
 
Response to your request 
 
The  date  of  the  last  meeting  of  the  Cabinet  Appointments  and  Honours  Committee  for  the  King’s 
Birthday Honours List 2026 was 30 April 2026.  
 
At the time of responding, the Honours Unit holds a large number of nominations for the New Year 
Honours List 2027, more than 300 of which have been processed and accepted for submission. This 
number  will  grow  as  processing  continues.  Generally,  the  Honours  Unit  receives  between  400-500 
nominations per list. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under section 28(3) 
of the Act. 
 
This response will be published on the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s website during 
our regular publication cycle. Typically, information is released monthly, or as otherwise determined.
