I refer to your official information request received on 13 May 2026 for information regarding 
sodium fluoroacetate. 
The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) does not hold part of the information you have 
requested, specifically:  
Five. A copy of any review of the 1080 drinking water MAV that has been conducted 
since 2021 and whether any review is planned in light of the absence of a WHO 
guideline value. 
However, we believe the Water Services Authority Taumata Arowai does. Therefore, we 
have transferred this part of your request to Water Services Authority Taumata Arowai under 
section 14(b)(i) of the Official Information Act 1982.  
As you are aware, we have transferred the part of the above question relating to reviews 
conducted prior to 2021 to the Ministry of Health.  
You wil  hear further from Water Services Authority Taumata Arowai concerning this part of
