Thank you for your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982, received by 
the Maidstone Intermediate School Board on 30th April 2026, regarding student behaviour matters, 
including incidents involving weapons, and records concerning stand-downs, suspensions, and 
expulsions at our school in 2026. 
 
The Maidstone Intermediate School Board has considered your request under the Official 
Information Act 1982 and refuse this request under section 9(2)(a) of the Official 
Information Act 1982, to protect the privacy of natural persons.  This is required as it is the opinion of 
the Board that even anonymised data would not meaningfully protect the privacy of our affected 
students. 
 
You have the right to seek a review of this decision by the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the 
Official Information Act 1982.
