Official Information Act request relating to Staff Work Phones
Thank you for your email of 8 April 2026 in which you requested:
I am seeking a list of the make and model of work phones provided by NEMA to its
staff by quantity.
If it is possible to categorise the list by seniority of staff, or with labels such as junior,
intermediate or senior staff, that would be beneficial.
Response to your request:
All staff, regardless of seniority, are provided with an iPhone 16e as their work phone. The
National Emergency Management Agency currently has 180 iPhones allocated to staff.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under
section 28(3) of the OIA.
