Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) on 31 March
2026 to the Office of Hon Matt Doocey, Associate Minister of Health, for information
regarding appointments to the Dietitians Board - Te Mana Matanga Matai Kai (the Board).

May I ask how you called for public nomination and on what platform you have call
for public nominations e.g. govt.jobs website.
The vacancies were advertised on the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) Careers webpage
(www.health.govt.nz/about-us/careers) and the Government Jobs webpage
(www.jobs.govt.nz).

reimbursement (If so, may I request to view your expense reimbursement policy in

"Candidate Information on the Terms and Conditions of Appointment to the
Dietitians Board" is attached to this letter as Document 2 and is released to you in full.
Members of the Board, and of any committees appointed by the Board, are paid fees for
attendance at meetings. Currently, the Chairperson is paid $800 (less tax) per full day or
$100 per hour. Members, including the Deputy Chairperson, are paid $640 (less tax) per full
day or $80 per hour. The Board pays for actual and reasonable travel and accommodation
expenses.
