Thank you for your request of 22 April 2026, made under the Local Government Official 
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA – the Act) for the following:   
 
Please provide the first draft report as-is received from Wellington Water and which is 
unadulterated.  
  
Your request was transferred from Wellington City Council to Wellington Water under section 12 
of the Act, as we are the lead agency for Wellington City Council’s water infrastructure.  
 
Your request is responded to in accordance with the Act. Please refer to the attached documents 
titled Appendix 1. 
 
Some personal information has been redacted from the attached document, including names 
and email addresses of individuals. This information is withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the Act 
“to protect the privacy of natural persons.”  
 
We have considered whether, in the circumstances, the public interest in releasing this 
information outweighs the need to withhold it. We do not believe that is the case.
