, you contacted Stats NZ requesting, under the Official Information Act
1982 (the Act), the fol owing information:

In the last 12 months please provide the total number of OIA requests received via
this channel (FYI.org)
•
In the last 12 months please provide the total number of requests received via
FYI.org that were flagged as spam. Please provide the dates and requests.
To address the first part of your request, I can confirm that between 17 March 2025 and
17 March 2026, Stats NZ received 12 Official Information Act requests via FYI.org.nz.
For the second part of your request, we reviewed Microsoft Exchange Online data for the
[email address] mailbox to identify emails sent via the FYI.org platform
that were automatical y flagged as spam by Microsoft’s spam-filtering service. Exchange
Online only retains this data for a rol ing 90 days and data older than this period no
longer exists in a retrievable form due to Microsoft platform limitations. Therefore, the
second part of your request is partial y refused under 18(g) of the Act, as part of the
information does not exist.
Between 15 January – 17 March 2026 (the data available within the 12 month period
specified in your request), I can confirm that two email addresses were flagged as
spam on five occasions:
[email address] (on 21 January,
23 February, 26 February and 3 March 2026) and
fyi-request-34014-
[email address] (on 9 March 2026). These email addresses and dates
align with your emails to Stats NZ via FYI.org.nz in relation to your request for Whānau
Ora Commissioning Agency voucher use information.
