Thank you for your email of 6 March 2026 to the Ministry of Social Development 
(the Ministry) requesting the annual payment amounts made to the members of 
the Benefit Review Committee (BRC). 
I have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). 
Please see the information requested attached as Appendix One. Please note  
•  five members were not paid any amount for the period requested; 
•  there are some Committee fees that were recorded but not paid; 
•  one member does not have a payroll record; 
•  we have anonymised this information, in line with your suggestion in your 
request.  
I will be publishing this decision letter, with your personal details deleted, on the 
Ministry’s website in due course. 
If you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact

to update the spreadsheet provided to you on 5 March 2026.
