What were the financial contributions (subsidy) for Te Huia for?
• NZTA
• Waikato Regional Council and
• Waikato District Council.
The Te Huia figures provided in the table below indicate the financial contributions that have been
made by the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA), Waikato Regional Council, Waikato District Council and
Hamilton City Council for the capital and operational spend of the project to date. Council organisation
spend indicates the local share contribution and NZTA spend indicates the National Land Transport
Fund contribution
