Thank you for your email of 27 February 2026 requesting the fol owing information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
Can you please provide me with the exact same information as you have provided to stuff or 
other news agency. 
Please refer to the appended Document Schedule which outlines the documents in scope of your 
request, including the dates briefings were provided to my office and my decision on the release of 
each document. In line with the information previously released,  I am still withholding some 
information under the fol owing sections of the Act: 
•  Section 6(c) – to protect information where the making available of the information 
would be likely to prejudice the maintenance of the law, including the prevention, 
investigation, and detection of offences, and the right to a fair trial. 
•  Section 9(2)(a) – to protect the privacy of natural persons. 
•  Section 9(2)(g)(i) – to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free 
and frank expression of opinions by or between or to Ministers of the Crown or 
members of an organisation or officers and employees of any public service agency or 
organisation in the course of their duty. 
With respect to the information that has been withheld, I do not consider there are any other 
factors which would render it desirable, in the public interest, to make the information available. 
As BRI-3408 is being withheld in full, please find below a high-level summary in lieu of the briefing: 
BRI-3408 provides advice on: 
•  Updates on actions addressing integrity concerns in the land transport system. 
•  Steps are being taken to rectify affected licences and strengthen verification processes. 
•  Relevant cases have been referred to enforcement agencies where appropriate.
