Hon Erica Stanford
Minister of Education
Parliament Buildings

Tēnā koe e te Minita,

As chair of the NZEI Te Riu Roa Principals' Council, I would like to request that you
accept delivery of our open letter about curriculum reform, signed by hundreds of
principals from across the country.

A delegation of principal leaders will be visiting the Beehive at 11.30am on Friday
17 October to deliver the open letter to you.   I appreciate that this is late notice
but the fact that so many principals have signed the letter in less than a week
underlines the depth and breadth of concern.

A copy of the open letter is attached.

I look forward to hearing from you.  Please contact 9(2)(a)
@nzei.org.nz
for any further information.

Ngā mihi

Stephanie Madden
Chair
Principals Council
