Thank you for your email, received on 14 April 2026, to Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for
Children (Oranga Tamariki) requesting information on correspondence between Chlöe
Swarbrick  and  Oranga  Tamariki  regarding  homeless  children  in  Auckland. Your
request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).

You have requested:

Under the OIA please provide copies of all correspondence and communications
from Chloe Swarbrick requesting assistance with homeless children in
Auckland's CBD in the last 18 months.

We have undertaken a search of our email system to identify any correspondence or
communications  in  scope  of  your  request.  Despite  reasonable  effort,  no
correspondence  or communications  have  been identified.  As such, your request is
refused in full under section 18(e) of the Act, as the information requested does not
exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found.

Oranga Tamariki may make the information contained in  this letter available  to the
public by publishing this on our website with your personal details removed.

I appreciate this may not be the outcome you expected. If you wish to discuss this
response with us, please feel free to contact [Oranga Tamariki request email]. Alternatively,
you  are  advised  of  your  right  to  also  raise  any  concerns  with  the  Office  of  the
