Local Government Official Information Request – Notification of Decision 
We refer to your Request for information under the Local Government Official Information and 
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) regarding Delegation instruments, written authority or service 
agreements of DMC to collect debts which was received by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council 
(Council)  dated  23 February 2026  and acknowledged by Council on 24 February 2026 
(Request). 
Council has now considered the Request. 
We advise that Council does not hold the information you have requested. Bay of Plenty Regional 
Council engages Baycorp New Zealand to undertake debt collection services on its behalf. 
The Manawatū-Whanganui Local Authority Shared Services (MW LASS) is a council-control ed 
organisation comprising seven local councils within the Manawatū-Whanganui region. 
You may wish to contact one or more of the councils within the Manawatū-Whanganui region 
directly to request the information you are seeking.
