Waka Kotahi continues to work closely with Te Manatū Waka Ministry of Transport to support:

Informing Te Manatū Waka of our Strategic Resilience Plans, including progress, timing and scope.
Ministerial decisions on recovery, rebuild and associated funding is expected to be sought in July 2023, with Waka Kotahi

Waka Kotahi engages with other government agencies on cyclone recovery as and where needed. For example, we have
recently provided insight and comment on papers from the D
under epartment of Internal Affairs relating to local government resources
needs. We are also connected in to labour market and workforce planning led by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and
Employment and Ministry of Social Development.
