OFFICIAL INFORMATION REQUEST
Thank you for your request dated 22 February 2026 regarding forestry-related communications,
meetings, and conflict-of-interest declarations.
On 24 February 2026, we wrote to you seeking clarification to help narrow the scope of your
request. While your request is clearly set out, it is very broad in scope and spans a wide
timeframe (1 January 2021 to present), covering a large volume of information across multiple
parts of the organisation.
As we have not received clarification to refine the request, we are unable to reasonably
progress it in its current form.
For that reason, Council is unable to reasonably progress the request in its current form and,
unfortunately, must refuse it under section 17(g) of the Local Government Official Information
and Meetings Act 1987, as responding would require substantial collation or research.
We remain happy to work with you to refine the request so it can be progressed, for example,
by focusing on a more specific timeframe, event, or category of information.
