forestry-related concerns. 
 
This letter is to advise you that the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is transferring part 
your request to Hon Todd McClay in his capacity as Minister of Forestry under section 14 of 
the Of icial Information Act 1982. 
 
The part of your request being transferred is for copies of any briefings, talking points, or 
key-message documents prepared for elected officials that relate to: 
•  forestry slash events 
•  erosion or sedimentation linked to forestry 
•  public communications about forestry impacts 
 
Between 1 March 2023 – 22 February 2026. 
 
Your request is being transferred because the information you are seeking is more closely 
connected with the functions of Minister McClay as Minister of Forestry.
