Thank you for your email of 17 February 2026 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
(MBIE), requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:

May I ask how you called for public nomination and on what platform you have call for public
nominations e.g. govt.jobs website. A copy of your ad and pay rate as wel . Also, how many
applications you have received for each of the role from the public and how many you have
received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc for your role.
How many you have shortlisted and how many you have interviewed. Also, can I request to view
the appointment letter if there is one sent to the appointee. I am happy for you to remove all the
personal information. Further, How many vacancies are you looking to fil at this round?

We did not invite nominations from the public this time. Under Schedule 5, clause 26 of the
Financial
Markets Conduct Act 2013, there is no statutory obligation to invite or consider public nominations.
A copy of the ad-position description is enclosed with this response. Advertising for this role closed on
19 February 2026. Remuneration for the Board members is determined by the Remuneration Authority
and is personal to the individual.
Also, how many applications you have received for each of the role from the public and how many you
have received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc for your role.
We have received 23 applications for the Financial Advice Code Committee (FACC) Member role.
How many you have shortlisted and how many you have interviewed.
Three candidates have been shortlisted. We have not interviewed any candidates yet.
