Thank you for your Official Information Act (the Act) request received on 17 February 2026 for: 
• 
copies of all compliance certificates issued for pyrotechnic displays held in The Hawkes Bay & 
Gisborne in 2025. 
Information being released  
On 11 December 2025 we provided you with information relating to compliance certificates issued 
for pyrotechnics displays held in the Hawkes Bay and Gisborne between 1 October and 18 
November 2025.  This information has not been provided again. 
Pursuant to section 16 of the Act I have decided to provide you with a summary of information 
from the compliance certificates to protect interests under the following sections of the Act: 
•  9(2)(a) – to protect the privacy of natural persons 
•  9(2)(b)(ii) to protect information that would be likely to unreasonably prejudice the 
commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the subject of the information.  
The information is provided in Tables One and Two below. Please note that al  dates are 2025:
