Thank you for your email of 4 March 2026 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982, the following information: 
 
I can confirm that the Public Sector NZBN registrations (Central Government, Local Government, 
Education, and Other Public Entity) with IDs starting from 300000001 are exactly the dataset I am 
seeking.   
 
To avoid any ambiguity or the need for your team to manually select or filter specific information, I 
request the complete raw data extract for all public entities in this "300. ." series. 
 
Crucially, please ensure the  ID (the 300. . number) is included as a specific column in the 
generated file. While I understand this ID is not displayed on the public website, it is the specific 
data point underpinning my original OIA request and is "official information" held by the Ministry. 
 
Please provide the export including all available columns/fields associated with these records in 
your system. Do not remove, filter, or curate any columns (such as internal ID references, 
parent/child pointers, or administrative notes). I am seeking the ful  dataset exactly as it exists in 
the register to ensure I have a complete picture of these entity structures and any relationships 
recorded therein. 
 
I understand this may produce a wide dataset with internal system headers; this is acceptable and 
preferred.
