I refer to your request dated January 22, 2026, under the Local Government Information and 
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) regarding staff wages and salaries, employee numbers and 
consultant expenditure for 2025.  
We require clarification or amendment of your request to enable Council to respond under 
the LGOIMA 1987 Act.  
Clarification Required 
As written, Question 2 of your request asks for “The total number of employees – salaried and 
waged workers – on the day before the current CEO Nedine Thatcher-Swann commenced 
with the GDC”. 
To ensure we provide the correct information, could you please clarify whether you are 
referring to: 
  When Nedine Thatcher-Swann original y commenced her Chief Executive role; or  
  When she commenced her new term fol owing reappointment 
Once we receive clarification, we wil  be better placed to process your request efficiently 
and provide the information most relevant to your interests. 
Should any additional factors come to light which are relevant to your request, please do not
