I refer to your request for information dated 22 January 2026 for Mountain Road slip repair costs. 
Please find below the response from our Flood Recovery team.  
 
The total cost of slip repairs on Mountain Road was $11,212,812.  This cost includes the sites 
impacted by the 2023 North Island Weather Events and the site impacted by severe weather in 2025. 
 
Should you believe that we have not dealt with your request appropriately, you are able to make a 
complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and 
seek an investigation and review regarding this matter.
