Thank you for your email of 17 January 2026 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information: 
 
I am requesting organisational charts for each investigation and compliance function within MBIE. 
 
Please ensure all teams, business units and areas of MBIE that have an investigation and compliance 
team are provided, including Occupational Regulation, Integrity & Enforcement, Business Registry, 
Building and Construction, Petroleums and Minerals, Immigration NZ and any others i have missed. 
 
Please also include in a easy to reference tables the remuneration ranges (high, mid and low) for 
Senior/Investigator, Investigations Manager, Regional and National Managers, and any other position 
mentioned within these org charts. 
 
The attached spreadsheet is based on information held as at 28 January 2026, and contains the 
information you requested for the investigation and compliance teams included in the scope of your 
enquiry, listed below. The information has been provided in spreadsheet form as MBIE does not currently 
have organisational charts created for these teams. MBIE does not currently have software capable of 
creating organisational charts and creating them manually would have required a significant amount of 
work. Please note that the remuneration ranges for these roles do not have a single true midpoint, as 
MBIE’s current remuneration framework is structured around set steps within the range applicable to 
each role.
