The map is rather low resolution and I'm hoping that by receiving the underlying data I'll be
able to get a more acurate picture of where it is proposed to go.
To clarify, the project map you referred to is a general illustration based on preliminary design
information rather than precise geospatial data. NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA)’s graphic
designers use the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud plugin within Adobe Illustrator to generate
the basemap, and then manual y trace the proposed road route based on sketches or illustrative
material provided by engineers. A copy of the illustration used as the basis for the Petone to Grenada
preferred route map is enclosed.
