Caveat to Data Set
- There are some countries with the results have less than 5. These have been col ated into one
group and which countries in table 2.
- The timeframes shown are measured in calendar days (not working days). This means weekends
and public holidays are included in the count.
- Country of birth is not confirmed until an application has been assessed by a Life and Identity
Services Officer, therefore, unassigned applications may not have the correct country. This is often
the case with people entering New Zealand as the country of birth mistakenly.
