EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – EXTERNAL REPRESENTATIVES ON COMMITTEES 
 
Taupō District Council has established the fol owing Committees of Council.  Each of these 
Committees’ membership include external community and/or business representatives.  
 
Further information on each of the Committees is available on Council’s website, including a role 
description and terms of reference. 
 
Council Committees 
External Representative Vacancies 
Water Services Committee 
One (1) independent external Chairperson  
Taupō Airport Authority Committee 
Two (2) business representatives  
Taupō / Taupō East Rural Community 
Two (2) community representatives 
Grant Distribution Committee 
 
Expressions of interest are now being sought and must arrive no later than 12pm, Monday 8 
December 2025 to be considered.  
 
Anyone who wishes to apply for these roles can do so by submitting the following in writing: 
•  Cover letter;  
•  Curriculum vitae; and 
•  Optional - letters of support or references. 
 
This documentation should be emailed to [email address] or dropped into a Taupō District 
Council Customer Services Centre (Taupō, Tūrangi or Mangakino).
