Thank you for your Official Information Act request dated 4 December 2025. You
requested the fol owing:
Are you aware of alleged bullying allegations and complaints at the Manukau
Urban Māori Authority (MUMA) involving the CEO and the alleged trespassing
of union representatives? If so, when was this first brought to your attention?
Please provide all communications including but not limited to texts, emails and
meeting notes, concerning the notification and any ongoing
discussions/meetings involving the matter.
Have you been made aware under the no surprises rule, of Labour MP Wil ie
Jackson's alleged involvement in this matter including allegedly meeting with
the former board chair and asking for a review to be buried.
Please provide all communications if any, with Mr. Jackson involving MUMA
since January 2025.
I am not aware of the alleged bullying allegations or complaints relating to MUMA.
As I have not been made aware of these matters, they have not been brought to my
attention.
I hold no communications of any kind, including but not limited to texts, emails and
meeting notes relating to the al egation described.
I have not been made aware under the no-surprises rule of any alleged involvement
by Hon Willlie Jackson. I therefore hold no information responsive to this part of
your request.
I have no communication with Hon Willie Jackson regarding MUMA within the
timeframe you specify, or at any time.
As the information you have requested does not exist, I am refusing your request
under section 18(e) of the Official Information Act 1982.
You are entitled to seek an investigation and review of my decision by writing to an
Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the act.
