I refer to the Official Information Act (the Act) request dated 2 December 2025 regarding Grade Distributions. 
You have specifical y requested: 
I would like to request grade breakdowns for the fol owing Computer Science, Software Engineering, 
Mathematics, and Statistics courses:

•  STAT201-25S1 
•  DATA301-25S1 
•  SENG365-25S1 
 
•  COSC367-25S2 
•  MATH363-25S2 
•  STAT202-25S2 
•  SENG303-25S2 
 
For the courses listed above, please provide the fol owing data: 
(1) The final grade distribution for the course (broken down by letter grade, e.g. A+, A, A-, ... etc.) 
(2) The number of students who completed the course 
(3) The mean and median final marks for the course (percentage) 
 
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the 
day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil  not be possible to meet that time limit and we are 
therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to Wednesday 4 February 
2026. 
This extension is required because consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a 
proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit, due to the availability of relevant 
staff. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision. Information about h
