Request made under the Official Information Act 1982
Thank you for your email of 30 November 2025 requesting the fol owing information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Please provide all video recordings collected by cameras onboard vehicle RDN41 between
9am to 11am on Sunday 30th November 2025. This will include any recordings by the
cameras that are used for speed surveillance, the turret cctv camera in rear window, any
dashcams and any other cameras fitted to this vehicle.
Please also provide all video recordings from the drivers body worn camera between 9am to
11am on Sunday 30th November 2025.
Please provide all gps data about this vehicles location between 9am to 11am on Sunday 30th
November 2025.
RDN41 is a blue Nissan X-Trail
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) does not hold any video recordings col ected by a vehicle
with this registration number and we do not hold any video recordings from the driver’s body camera
or any CCTV or dash cameras in the vehicle. NZTA also does not hold information about the location
of this vehicle at the time or date requested.
I am therefore refusing your request in full under section 18(g) of the Act as NZTA does not hold the
information, and we have no reason to believe it is held by another government agency.
