Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) on 28 November
2025 to Hon Simeon Brown, Minister of the Crown.
You requested:
“What appointments, if any, have you made since 24 February 2025 to crown
entities, boards, working groups, taskforces, inquiries, or any other role, if any,
broken down by the date of each appointment made, the tenure start and end dates
of each appointment made, and the remuneration paid to date to each individual
appointment, and which other Ministers, if any, were consulted on each
appointment?”
Health
There were 59 appointments made to 13 boards and committees between 24 February 2025
and 1 December 2025. Please refer to Appendix 1 for a detailed breakdown.
Regarding remuneration information for the below boards and committees, please note that
the Ministry of Health does not general y track remuneration information except for when
secretariat support sits within the Ministry.
For Crown entities and Responsible Authorities, remuneration information is typical y publicly
available in their annual reports. You may wish to contact them directly for further
information, noting some are not subject to the Official Information Act 1982:

The current approved annual director fee for each entity is outlined in the table below. Fees
are approved by the Minister against independent external market benchmarking,
discounted for public service. The payment schedule for remuneration payments is
determined by each entity. The annual total fee paid per director is an audited figure and
disclosed in the entities annual report. Chair fees are mandated at twice the rate of the
directors and Deputy Chair fees are 1.25 times the director rate.
