Official Information request – Frequency Table for Specific Psychology and Criminology Papers
The University of Waikato (
University) has given due consideration to your request for official
information of 21 November 2025 in which you have requested:
“A frequency table of students’ overall paper grades along with descriptive statistics with the percentages
(mean, median, mode, min, max) for the following papers for 2024 and 2025:
PSYCH203, PSYCH204, PSYCH211, CRSCI201, FPSYC201, SOCIO204, CRIMN300, CRIMN301,
SOCIO311, SOCPY303,
All PSYCH 300-level papers and all WIL papers.”
Under the Official Information Act 1982 (
Act) the University has provided the
attached document
in response to the data requested. Please note the following exceptions:
(a) The data is provided as of 28 November 2025 for enrolments in papers where grades have been
made available.
(b) WIL papers are graded either with marks or on a Pass/Fail basis. Pass/Fail papers are listed on
page three of the attached document.
(c) Numbers have been aggregated in order to protect the privacy of individuals pursuant to
section 9(2)(a) of the Act.
