Official information request regarding Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
graduates
We refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the
Act), dated 19 November 2025:
“I would please request the number of BE(Honors) graduates for each year from
2019 to 2024 categorized by major/specialization and the average graduating
GPA for each BE major per year.”
The requested information is provided in the table below. The figures include all Bachelor
of Engineering graduates, both with and without honours. From 2019 to 2024, the
number of graduates without an honours component was fewer than five, having minimal
impact on the average graduating GPA. Please note that GPA information has been
withheld where the number of graduates is fewer than four, under section 9(2)(a) of the
OIA to protect the privacy of natural persons. Information on GPA calculation weightings
is available on
this page, and the most up-to-date details about the University’s BE(Hons)
programme can be accessed vi
a this link.
