1. For all roles within the mid-level tiers or equivalent levels of your agency's organisational
structure (for example, team managers, principals, seniors, analysts and advisors, etc), the
minimum, maximum, and median salaries currently being paid for each position title.
2. For the same group of roles, the number of employees in each pay band/grade that is currently
being used for each position title.”

APPENDIX 1
Table 1 shows the number of employees within in each pay band and the pay ranges for these.
Table 2 explains how the position titles have been grouped to standardise titles.
• For the same group of roles, the number of employees in each pay band/grade that is currently being
used for each position title. Includes permanent and fixed-term employees; excludes those on
extended leave (Parental, LWOP, etc).
• ''Mid-level' roles have been defined as roles within pay bands J04- J08.
• All data is shown based on the employee's substantive role; three employees were seconded into a
different position.
• '
S' indicates where values have been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act
1982 to protect the privacy of natural persons (including deceased persons). Salary data is only
shown where there were more than five substantive employees to ensure data privacy.
