I refer to your request received on 17 November 2025, which has been considered
under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). You requested the following
information:
Please provide the following information as at 17 December 2025:
1. For all roles within the mid-level tiers or equivalent levels of your agency's
organisational structure (for example, team managers, principals, seniors,
analysts and advisors, etc), the minimum, maximum, and median salaries
currently being paid for each position title.
2. For the same group of roles, the number of employees in each pay
band/grade that is currently being used for each position title.
Information being released
Please note that requests under the OIA cannot be made for future information, so I
am unable to provide you with information as at 17 December 2025. The information
below is current as at the date of your request.
I have decided to release the position types that you specifically requested, numbers
of staff in each position type, and salaries for these position types. Please note that
positions in a type may be within different salary bands (for example, two Senior
Advisors in different business groups may be in different salary bands). The
information below does not cover tier 2 and tier 3 senior management, and there are
no ‘mid-level team manager’ positions at Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and
Heritage.
