Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request transferred to Police from 
the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet on 27 November 2025, in which you 
requested: 
all emails if any, received by your office containing allegations against Jevon 
McSkimming between December 2023 and January 2024. As these emails 
have already been identified and given this matter is a nationwide story at 
present, can this OIA please be treated with urgency 
The emails you have requested are withheld in full under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, to 
protect the privacy of natural persons. 
Police considers the interests requiring protection by withholding the information are not 
outweighed by any public interest in release of the information. 
Please note that as part of its commitment to openness and transparency, Police 
proactively releases some information and documents that may be of interest to the 
public. An anonymised version of this response may be publicly released on the New 
Zealand Police website.
