Thank you for your email, transferred to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) from the
Ministry of Health | Manatū Hauora (the Ministry) on 1 December 2025, asking for the following
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA):
Please would you share all the RFPs and Tenders information on the My Vaccine
Pass system from 2021? I don't seem to be able to locate this on the GETS system
Response Please note that Health NZ was established in June 2022, predating the period of your request.
However, although Health NZ was not responsible for RFPs or tenders regarding the My Vaccine
Pass system at the time, as the subject matter expertise relating to this process sits with Health NZ
following the health system reforms in 2022, your request was transferred to Health NZ for
response.
We have identified two documents within scope of your request as outlined in
Appendix One together with our decisions on their release. The documents are attached as
Appendix Two.
Some information has been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA to protect the privacy of
natural persons.
Where we have withheld information under section 9 of the OIA, we have also considered any
countervailing public interests in the release of this information. We do not believe that the public
interests outweigh the need to withhold it in this instance.
