I refer to your request for official information of 4 November 2025 in which you have requested the
following information:

Will the entry process be similar to the University of Otago and University of Auckland medical
programmes — for example, divided into different categories (General, Māori, Pacific, Rural, etc.)?

Will there be a minimum academic requirement such as a specific GPA or grade average to be considered?
•
Will applicants be required to sit an admissions test (e.g., GAMSAT) and attend interviews?
•
Are there any recommended undergraduate degrees or prerequisite subjects that would make an
application stronger?
•
When do you expect to release full details about the admission process and selection criteria?
