Thank you for your Official Information Act request received on 29 October 2025. You
requested:
The WorkSafe Board meeting agenda and minutes for December 9, 2024
(Meeting 111) list the following items:
Item 4.3.1 (Appendix): Serene Heater Review Report The minutes from this
meeting state the Board "NOTED and ENDORSED" the recommendations and
"endorsed management’s response."
I formally request copies of the following documents:
The "Serene Heater Review Report," referenced as Appendix 4.3.1 for the
December 9, 2024 Board meeting.
The "management response" to the review, which was endorsed by the Board at
the December 9, 2024 meeting.
Any reports, updates, or papers on the "review into Serene heaters"
Your request covers many documents, including legally privileged and other sensitive
advice. More time is needed to undertake necessary consultations before a decision can
be made on your request.
Under section 15A(1)(b) of the Official Information Act, we have decided to extend the
time limit for deciding on your request by an additional 30 working days. This extension
will also apply to the time limit for transferring your request, should this become relevant.
