Organisation Structure
Thank you for your official information request which we received on 23 October. The three
parts of your request and our responses are set out below.
1. The current organisational structure (including reporting lines, team names,
and leadership positions) for:
- The Auckland Urban Development Office (AUDO)
- The Economic Development Office
- The Property Department
2. Any role descriptions or functional statements that outline the purpose and
responsibilities of each of these offices, including any documents that describe
how they interface with each other and other parts of Auckland Council.
In response to questions 1 and 2 please find attached decision documents for the Auckland
Urban Development Office (AUDO) and the Economic Development Office changes. These
documents contain organisational structure, departmental role descriptions and
interactions with other parts of Auckland Council for AUDO, the Economic Development
Office and the Property Department.
3. If available, any public or internal briefings or communications provided to the
Governing Body or Executive Leadership Team that outline the operating model
or structure of these new offices following the integration of Eke Panuku.
Please find attached a change proposal feedback presentation which was provided to the
Executive Leadership Team in May 2025. Governing Body received monthly updates from
February 2025 on the reform process, reports and minutes from these meetings are
publicly
available.
