Official Information Act request: Copy of Fairway Resolution contract 
 
Thank you for your email of 22 October 2025 to the Ministry of Justice (the Ministry) 
requesting information under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act), regarding the 
contract for service Fairway Dispute Resolution. Specifically, you requested:  
 
May I please have a copy of the Ministry of Justice’s Fairway Resolution dispute 
resolution contract expiring 30 June 2025 and entered into on or around 1 July 2021.  
 
A response to your request is being prepared. However, the consultations necessary to 
make a decision are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be provided within the 
original time limit. Therefore, I am extending the time limit for response under section 
15A(1)(b) of the Act and wil  respond to you no later than 5 December 2025. 
 
You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to make a complaint to the Ombudsman 
about the decision to extend the time for responding to your request. The Office of the
