Thank you for your email of 21 October 2025, in which you request the following under
the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA):

List of the entire delegation accompanying Singapore prime minister Lawrence
Wong including support staff on his trip to New Zealand in October 2025. Only
peoples job titles if you plan to exclude names.

List of the entire delegation accompanying president of the czech republic Petr
Pavel including support staff on his trip to New Zealand in December 2024. Only
peoples job titles if you plan to exclude names.
On 19 November 2025, the timeframes for responding to your request were extended by
an additional 20 working days due to the consultations necessary to make a decision on
your request (section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA refers).
Regarding part one of your request please refer to page one of the attached document.
The full delegation details, including names, job titles, and total numbers, were provided
to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the Ministry) in confidence. Names and job
titles that have not been publicly announced have been withheld under the following
sections of the OIA:
•
6(a): to avoid prejudicing the security or defence of New Zealand or the
international relations of the New Zealand Government; and
•
6(b)(i): to protect the passing of information from another government on a
confidential basis.
Regarding part two of your request please refer to pages 2-14 of the attached document.
The information provided in response to part two of your request forms part of a larger
programming document. Sections unrelated to Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s schedule
have been removed as they are out of scope. Some information has been withheld under
the following sections of the OIA:

6(a): to avoid prejudicing the security or defence of New Zealand or the
international relations of the New Zealand Government;

6(b)(i): to protect the passing of information from another government on a
confidential basis; and
•
9(2)(g)(ii): to protect officers and employees from improper pressure or
harassment.
Where the information has been withheld under section 9 of the OIA, no public interest

withholding it.
Regarding part three of your request please refer to pages 15-17 of the attached
document. The names of the majority of this delegation were provided in confidence.
Names that have not been publicly announced have been withheld under the following
sections of the OIA:
